The Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our team. This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is comfortable working as part of a busy warehouse environment. We also have an opportunity for someone with flatpack assembly experience or a strong practical ability to take on additional responsibilities building and assembling flatpack products.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing goods accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock around the warehouse safely
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Checking goods and maintaining accurate stock
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Building and assembling flatpack furniture/products where required
- Using basic hand tools to assemble flatpack items
- Checking completed assemblies to ensure they are finished to the required standard
About You
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Organised and able to follow instructions
- Keen to learn new skills
- Ideally experienced within a warehouse environment
- Flatpack assembly experience would be advantageous, although candidates with good practical skills and experience using basic hand tools will also be considered.
