Hours: Monday to Friday - 07.30 - 16.40
Contract: Temporary with the potential to go permanent
The Role We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy timber yard in Corby.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, outdoor environment and is confident handling timber and other bulky materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading deliveries of timber and other materials.
- Moving stock around the yard and into designated storage areas.
- Assisting with the preparation and movement of customer orders.
- Supporting general yard and warehouse duties when required.
- Keeping the working area clean, tidy and safe.
- Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any faults.
What We're Looking For
- A valid counterbalance forklift licence.
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance truck.
- Experience handling timber or other long, bulky materials would be an advantage.
- A good understanding of workplace health and safety.
- A reliable, hardworking and practical approach.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
