Test Technician – High Voltage Power Supplies
Location: Pulbrough
We\’re working with a leading manufacturer of high-voltage power supplies, looking for a hands-on Test Technician to support production by testing and troubleshooting products in a lean manufacturing environment. This is a key role on the manufacturing floor, ensuring products meet customer specifications and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test high-voltage power supplies using automated test fixtures.
- Perform basic mechanical assembly, component installation, and hands-on production support.
- Complete test reports and ensure compliance with quality and customer standards.
- Upgrade, modify, and rework assemblies and finished products.
- Read and implement engineering documentation and design changes.
- Raise non-conformances and collaborate to resolve quality and performance issues.
- Liaise with Engineering, Sales, and Test Equipment teams to support product quality.
- Support ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) systems and initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience testing electronic products to procedure, including high-voltage systems.
- Proficient in using oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies, and multimeters.
- Soldering/rework experience to IPC standards.
- Background in lean manufacturing is advantageous.
