Overview:
We\’re working with a leading advanced materials manufacturer looking for a Technical Lead to drive innovation and product development in thermoplastic polymer films, particularly TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). This is a hands-on, strategic role combining material science expertise with project leadership, market insight, and cross-functional collaboration.
You\’ll act as the technical authority on polymer film materials, ensuring products meet strict regulatory and customer requirements. You\’ll lead R&D initiatives, guide material selection, and support the sales team with technical insights to help grow the business
The position will initially focus on a dedicated project aimed at identifying and resolving issues within the client\’s TPU film manufacturing process. Upon successful completion, the role will transition into leading new product development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert for thermoplastic polymer film materials.
- Manage full lifecycle of new product development projects.
- Conduct market and supplier research to identify new materials and applications.
- Ensure product compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support sales with product specifications and technical documentation.
