We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of major, technically complex construction projects within a specialist engineered solutions environment. This high-impact operational role provides full ownership of projects from post-order clearance through to installation, commissioning, invoicing and financial close-out. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope and on budget – while protecting margin and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

The Role

  • Managing the full project lifecycle from technical clearance to handover
  • Coordinating internal teams across technical, procurement, manufacturing, logistics and installation
  • Proactively managing programme, risk, constraints and dependencies
  • Monitoring progress against contractual requirements and lead times
  • Acting as the first escalation point for site-based operational and quality issues
  • Attending site as required to resolve challenges and maintain delivery momentum
  • Ensuring installations meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Supporting RAMS and site documentation production
  • Overseeing cost control, including field operations, subcontractors, WIP and invoicing

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, building services or engineered systems
  • Experience delivering technically complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost management capability
  • Ability to manage programme, risk and delivery under pressure
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP advantageous)
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable

  • Ability to read and interpret construction or façade drawings
  • Knowledge of automatic doors or EN16005 (training can be provided)
  • Experience using Monday.com or similar project tracking tools
