This role is ideal for someone with technical sales or sales engineering experience, particularly within pneumatics or related industrial systems. It combines technical understanding with relationship building, working closely with customers to provide tailored solutions, technical support, and reliable service.

Role Overview: You will act as the main point of contact for customers, providing expert advice and helping identify the best products and systems for their needs. The position involves managing existing accounts as well as developing new business opportunities, supported by an established internal team. Working 2 days in the office and remaining days visiting clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Provide technical advice, product recommendations, and solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, respond to inquiries, and process orders accurately.
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales within your territory.
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations when required.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and high customer satisfaction.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and developments in pneumatic and automation technologies.
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or customer support within an industrial or pneumatic environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex products clearly.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Organised and self-motivated, able to manage time effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential).
  • Engineering qualifications or experience in pneumatic or automation systems are desirable.
