We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of major, technically complex construction projects within a specialist engineered solutions environment. This high-impact operational role provides full ownership of projects from post-order clearance through to installation, commissioning, invoicing and financial close-out. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope and on budget – while protecting margin and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where coordination, commercial awareness and technical confidence are essential, this role offers genuine responsibility and influence.

The Role

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned projects following order acceptance, acting as the primary operational lead throughout delivery.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from technical clearance to handover.
  • Coordinate internal teams across technical, procurement, manufacturing, logistics and installation.
  • Proactively manage programme, risk, constraints and dependencies.
  • Monitor progress against contractual requirements and lead times.
  • Act as the first escalation point for site-based operational and quality issues.
  • Attend site as required to resolve challenges and maintain delivery momentum.
  • Ensure installations meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Support RAMS and site documentation production.
  • Oversee cost control, including field operations, subcontractors, WIP and invoicing.

What Success Looks Like

  • Programme adherence and on-time delivery.
  • Cost control and margin protection.
  • Field Operations cost management.
  • First Time Fix performance.
  • WIP accuracy and invoicing control.
  • Quality assurance and defect reduction.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, building services or engineered systems.
  • Experience delivering technically complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost management capability.
  • Ability to manage programme, risk and delivery under pressure.
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP advantageous).
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desirable

  • Ability to read and interpret construction or façade drawings.
  • Knowledge of automatic doors or EN16005 (training can be provided).
  • Experience using Monday.com or similar project tracking tools.
