Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for CNC programming, process improvement and precision machining? We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing precision engineering business that supplies complex, high-quality components to demanding industrial sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment where continuous improvement, innovation and technical expertise are highly valued.
Working closely with Production and Quality teams, you'll play a key role in developing and optimising manufacturing processes, supporting new product introduction and driving operational excellence across the machine shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce offline CNC programs for multi-axis milling and turning using CAM software.
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods to increase productivity, quality and efficiency.
- Create manufacturing work packs and detailed operator instructions.
- Support production in achieving manufacturing schedules and delivery targets.
- Optimise tooling, workholding and machining strategies.
- Manage the introduction of new components into production.
