Key Responsibilities:

  • New Product Development (NPD): Evaluate repair/overhaul methods and reverse engineer component assemblies.
  • Develop and approve alternative tooling and produce technical documentation.
  • Lead/support NPD projects, including technical procedure development and handover to operations.
  • Sustaining Engineering: Provide technical support during equipment failures and non-conformances.
  • Lead root cause investigations and maintain internal technical records.
  • Design or upgrade tools and equipment within budgetary limits.
  • Apply industrial engineering methods to identify process inefficiencies and improvements.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational excellence (OpEx) and lean initiatives (Kaizens, GEMBA walks, 5S).
  • Support change management and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations (AS9100, EASA/FAA Part 145 & 21G).
  • Strong technical drawing, documentation, and CAD skills.
  • Effective communicator, team player, and project planner with a proactive mindset.
