Key Responsibilities:
- New Product Development (NPD): Evaluate repair/overhaul methods and reverse engineer component assemblies.
- Develop and approve alternative tooling and produce technical documentation.
- Lead/support NPD projects, including technical procedure development and handover to operations.
- Sustaining Engineering: Provide technical support during equipment failures and non-conformances.
- Lead root cause investigations and maintain internal technical records.
- Design or upgrade tools and equipment within budgetary limits.
- Apply industrial engineering methods to identify process inefficiencies and improvements.
Other Responsibilities:
- Drive operational excellence (OpEx) and lean initiatives (Kaizens, GEMBA walks, 5S).
- Support change management and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field.
- Familiarity with industry regulations (AS9100, EASA/FAA Part 145 & 21G).
- Strong technical drawing, documentation, and CAD skills.
- Effective communicator, team player, and project planner with a proactive mindset.
