An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled engineer to join a busy engineering environment in the Manchester area. This is a hands‑on role involving the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of engineering equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out engineering duties across customer and business requirements
- Install, maintain, service and repair engineering equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues
- Carry out fault finding and problem solving
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
- Liaise professionally with customers and colleagues
- Complete service records and relevant documentation
- Follow health and safety procedures and industry standards
About You
- Previous engineering experience
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering skills
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence would be advantageous
- Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeship experience preferred
