We are seeking a self-motivated and team-oriented Service Engineer to join a growing organisation specialising in water efficiency technologies. This role involves working on large-scale commercial and industrial systems, including projects such as airports and stadiums.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys
- Carry out mechanical and electrical system installations
- Commission systems and ensure optimal performance
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
- Provide after-sales support
- Test and repair products
- Manage and support projects where required
- Complete associated office-based tasks
- Participate in an on-call rota
- Travel to sites, including occasional overnight stays
A structured training programme (approximately 3 months) will be provided, focusing on specialist systems such as rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience working as a field service engineer or supervisor within pumping systems, cooling systems, or similar technologies in a construction environment
- Relevant qualifications in plumbing or electrical engineering
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team (SSSTS or SMSTS advantageous)
- High level of motivation and commitment to professional development
- Proven experience working within the building services sector with strong customer-facing skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings
- Experience with water recycling systems is beneficial but not essential
- Full, valid manual driving licence
