- Speak with prospective customers to understand their technical requirements and qualify potential sales opportunities.
- Direct qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Engineer.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities and follow-up activity within the CRM system.
- Work alongside Sales Engineers on larger customer projects, acting as an additional point of contact when required.
- Liaise with technical support teams and assist with project coordination and administration.
- Support outbound lead generation and customer follow-up activities.
- Business Development
- You'll help identify and develop new business opportunities by researching prospective customers, industries and engineering applications.
- Using LinkedIn and other digital tools to identify potential opportunities.
- Building connections and engaging with prospective customers.
- Researching new markets and applications for technical measurement solutions.
- Supporting targeted business development campaigns.
- Occasionally attending customer visits, product demonstrations, exhibitions and industry events, either independently or alongside Sales Engineers.
- Marketing & Events
- You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to wider marketing and customer engagement activities, including helping organise and support exhibitions and other industry events.
- Assisting with registrations, customer communications, stand preparation and post-event follow-up.
- Contributing ideas for marketing campaigns, social media content and customer case studies.
- Supporting the company's professional presence on platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Contributing to marketing and video content where appropriate.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines a strong technical foundation with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in working with customers.
