Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Fleet & Compliance Manager to oversee the operations of a 100+ vehicle and trailer fleet. The role involves leading a team of 7 (including workshop and assistant managers), ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and managing budgets, maintenance schedules, and driver performance. The role would benefit from hybrid 4 days in office and 1 work form home.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as named Transport Manager on the Operator Licence, ensuring legal compliance.
- Manage driver hours, tachograph regulations, and incidents.
- Lead internal audits and maintain compliance processes.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance in coordination with the Workshop Manager.
- Plan budgets, control costs, and manage supplier contracts.
- Handle breakdowns, emergency repairs, and out-of-hours coordination.
