The position is field-based and involves working independently to complete service visits safely, efficiently and in line with agreed procedures and KPIs. The role also includes setting products to work, completing site-based risk assessments, maintaining accurate service documentation and supporting customers, installers and service partners as needed.

Alongside hands-on technical work, the position contributes to continuous improvement by feeding back on processes, supporting apprentices through mentoring, and collaborating with technical and customer support teams to resolve issues effectively. It suits someone with strong electrical knowledge, a customer-focused mindset and the ability to manage their own workload while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Occasional wider travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, repair and commission electric heating, heat pump and ventilation products in the field.
  • Complete dynamic risk assessments and ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures.
  • Accurately complete service documentation, reports and system updates.
  • Provide technical support to customers, installers and service partners, including on-site advice and training.
  • Collaborate with technical and customer support teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain tools, equipment and vehicles in safe working condition.
  • Support the mentoring and development of technical apprentices.
  • Contribute feedback to improve procedures, documentation and the overall customer experience.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Electrical qualifications with strong knowledge of electrical systems – 18th Edition.
  • Proven field-based service or maintenance experience with a customer-facing focus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and meet performance targets.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with customers and technical teams.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
