An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and hands-on Field Technician to join a growing technical team. This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their engineering and maintenance skills within a professional and supportive environment focused on continuous improvement and high service standards.

The successful candidate will support the maintenance, servicing, and installation of equipment across multiple customer sites throughout the UK. Ongoing training and development opportunities will be provided to support career progression and technical growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit customer and operational sites across the UK to maintain systems and equipment.
  • Carry out fault finding repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of equipment and systems.
  • Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble mechanical components and equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults safely and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the wider technical team to deliver high standards of service and quality.
  • Investigate equipment and operational issues and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure all identified issues are communicated and reported appropriately.
  • Maintain compliance with all health and safety procedures while working on site.
  • Travel and work away from home when required, including overnight stays.
  • Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by management.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths, English, and Science.
  • Previous mechanical or engineering experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or continuous process environment.
  • Experience and working knowledge of TIG welding.
  • Experience working with diaphragm pumps.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety and quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
