An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join a busy and fast-growing motor vehicle repair and MOT centre group. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with experience across a wide range of vehicles. An MOT licence is desirable but not essential.
You will be working in a modern workshop environment, carrying out high-quality diagnostic, service, and repair work to industry standards while contributing to a positive and professional team culture.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out servicing, diagnostic, and repair work as directed
- Inspect vehicles for wear, damage, and general faults
- Complete all work to DVSA standards
- Conduct MOT inspections where qualified (desirable)
- Work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
- Deliver excellent customer service and uphold best-practice workshop standards
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a vehicle technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Confident using diagnostic equipment, multimeters, and electronic testing tools
- Good knowledge of electrical and electronic vehicle systems
- Experience working across a variety of vehicle makes and models
- IT literate
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 minimum; Level 4 desirable but not essential)
- Monday to Friday working only
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Additional holiday entitlement after 5 years' service (up to 25 days)
