Business Development Manager About the Role We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join a growing team within the retail solutions sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in retail loss prevention and a passion for developing new business within the UK market while supporting wider European sales activity.

This role combines strategic business development with technical expertise, making you the go-to specialist for loss prevention solutions across Europe while driving sales across a broad portfolio of retail merchandising products and services in the UK.

Key Responsibilities Become the subject matter expert for retail loss prevention, supporting sales teams across Europe with specialist knowledge and solution expertise.

Develop and grow the UK market by identifying new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing grocery retailers and brand owners.

Promote a full portfolio of retail merchandising and in-store solutions, working collaboratively with product specialists to deliver the best customer outcomes.

Support and develop distributor and channel partner relationships, helping them identify and secure new business opportunities.

Gather and share customer, competitor and market insights to help shape future products, pricing and commercial strategies.

Develop compelling ROI and value-based business cases that demonstrate the benefits of proposed solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and key industry stakeholders.

Travel throughout the UK and occasionally across Europe to meet customers, prospects and partners.

Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer activity records using the CRM system.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrable expertise within retail loss prevention and a strong understanding of the retail LP landscape.

A successful track record in business development or sales, ideally selling into grocery retailers, FMCG brands or the retail sector.

Experience selling retail merchandising solutions, store fixtures, display products or similar retail technologies is highly desirable.

Experience working with distributors, resellers or channel partners.

A consultative, solution-focused sales approach with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Strong commercial awareness and the ability to communicate value through ROI-driven proposals.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to work across different markets and cultures.

A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload.

A willingness to travel throughout the UK and Europe as required.

The right to work in the UK.

Additional European language skills would be an advantage.
