Key Responsibilities:

  • New Product Development (NPD): Evaluate repair/overhaul methods and reverse engineer component assemblies. Develop and approve alternative tooling and produce technical documentation. Lead/support NPD projects, including technical procedure development and handover to operations.
  • Sustaining Engineering: Provide technical support during equipment failures and non-conformances. Lead root cause investigations and maintain internal technical records. Design or upgrade tools and equipment within budgetary limits. Apply industrial engineering methods to identify process inefficiencies and improvements.
  • Other Responsibilities: Drive operational excellence (OpEx) and lean initiatives (Kaizens, GEMBA walks, 5S).
