ACS International Schools is seeking a HR Administrator & Systems Specialist to join our collaborative HR team, working at our Cobham Campus. In this role, you will provide general HR Administrative support, particularly in ensuring ACS is compliant with UK employment and ISI regulations within the onboarding process.

You will work closely with the HR Systems Lead and HR Operations Manager to ensure the system meets all functionality requirements, including seamless generation of the SCR and provide ongoing support to optimise system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Gathering and Stakeholder Management: Collect and document HR requirements to ensure the integrated HR system supports the school’s complex structures and operational needs. Mapping HR processes (current and desired) to ensure smooth process improvements. Ensuring a deep understanding of the HRIS system and future needs. Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders, including HR, payroll, recruitment, and senior management, to ensure alignment and buy-in throughout the implementation and operational phases of the project. Serve as the subject matter expert for HR data within the system. Provide guidance on data integrity, best practices, and troubleshooting. Ensure that the integrated HR system can generate and submit the SCR (School Census Return) accurately and without disruption to the HR and payroll processes. Assist the HR Systems Lead in overseeing the entire HR system landscape, ensuring that the integrated solution meets the ongoing needs of the school. Focus on exceptional employee and manager experience when using the system.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with the project team to drive system changes forward, adhering to project deadlines and delivering milestones on time. Provide support post changes to resolve any system issues and optimise the HR system for continued effectiveness. Assist in system upgrades and enhancements as necessary. Identify and implement improvements to HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee experience. Stay up to date with the latest HR legislation, trends, and systems best practices relevant to the educational sector.
  • Other HR Administration Responsibilities: Compliance: Ensures the accurate and timely updating of the HR information system and the Single Central Register (SCR), including all changes of employee information, salary changes, benefits, etc. Payroll: Ensures efficient, accurate and timely administration of UK payroll. Joiners, Leavers, and other HR Administration: Provides an accurate and efficient HR Administration service through the employee life cycle. Recruitment and Induction: Assists in the induction of new teachers, completing all necessary paperwork and processes to ensure a smooth transition into the Schools or Central Support Functions.

This is a fixed term role (18 months), full time position 35 hours per week based at the Cobham campus. Occasional travel to other UK campuses may be required during peak times. Start Date: May 2025.
