The predicted salary is between 38000 - 42000 £ per year.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 5:00pm with a 1pm finish every Friday

The role of Quality Engineer:

  • Completing FAIRs, ISIRs and associated customer quality documentation to support production and new product introduction activities
  • Leading root cause investigations, 8D activities and corrective actions relating to internal and external non-conformances
  • Conducting internal and supplier audits whilst supporting customer and third-party audit activities
  • Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications and purchase orders to ensure customer requirements fully understood and achieved
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives

The ideal Quality Engineer:

  • Previous experience working within a Quality Engineer position within an aerospace environment
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Experience completing FAIRs, ISIRs and customer quality documentation packs
  • Proven experience leading root cause investigations using 8D, 5Y or similar methodologies
  • Experience conducting internal audits and supporting customer or supplier quality activities
