The role of Logistics Coordinator:
- Manage critical shipments by air, road, or hand carry, ensuring goods are delivered on time
- Respond to customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and keep clients updated on progress
- Book and track shipments including handling urgent line stoppage situations
- Obtain required documents (e.g. purchase orders, SPTR references) and scan into the system
- Work closely with the warehouse team to manage returns and outgoing loads effectively
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Travel to customer and supplier sites as required
The ideal Logistics Coordinator:
- Previous experience in a similar logistics or freight forwarding role, ideally with OEMs and tier 1 suppliers
- Strong knowledge of the transport forwarding industry
- Highly organised with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
- Confident with numbers, literate, and computer savvy — MS Office, email, spreadsheets, and databases
