The role of CNC Machinist:

  • Setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
  • Selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures and machine settings to achieve required tolerances
  • Producing components to exacting quality standards and customer requirements

The ideal CNC Machinist:

  • Previous experience working within a CNC Operator, CNC Miller, or similar machining position
  • Ability to set, operate and programme CNC milling machinery within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings confidently
  • Good understanding of engineering tolerances and quality requirements
