The role of Steel Operative:
- Working in dispatch, operating the overhead cranes to move steel coils around the workplace
- Operating overhead cranes, handling steel coils
- Driving counterbalance forklift trucks
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Preparing orders and receiving deliveries
- Banding processed coils
- Any other duties as and when required
