Hours: 7:30am - 4:15pm Monday to Thursday / 1:00pm finish Fridays, 38.5 hours per week, Straight days

The role of Steel Operative:

  • Working in dispatch, operating the overhead cranes to move steel coils around the workplace
  • Operating overhead cranes, handling steel coils
  • Driving counterbalance forklift trucks
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Preparing orders and receiving deliveries
  • Banding processed coils
  • Any other duties as and when required

The ideal Steel Operative:

  • Must be an overhead crane operator
  • Steel industry experience
