A well-established and growing independent garage group is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join its busy workshop. This is a hands-on role working across a wide range of vehicles, focused on diagnostics, repair, and servicing to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work
- Inspect vehicles for wear, faults, and safety issues
- Complete all work in line with DVSA standards
- Carry out MOT inspections (if qualified)
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Experience using diagnostic tools and multimeters (oscilloscope beneficial)
- Good knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic IT literacy
Desirable:
- MOT licence
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 or above (Level 4 advantageous)
