Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to meet sales targets
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer service teams
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports
- Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide sales forecasts
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within technology, retail, or food-related industries
- Strong understanding of the Scottish and Irish commercial markets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self‑motivated, organised, and customer‑focused
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
- Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
