A fast growing, investment backed technology business is appointing a Commercial Director to take ownership of its commercial organisation and revenue performance.

This is a genuine build role.

You will bring new business, key accounts, tenders and sales operations together into one function, creating a clear operating rhythm, reliable forecast and consistent accountability for every revenue number.

The role reports directly to the CEO and will manage several commercial managers and heads of function.

You will be responsible for strengthening the management structure, improving pipeline discipline and turning the CRM into a practical operating system for the business.

We are looking for someone who has

  • Led a multi-team B2B sales or commercial function
  • Managed managers, not only individual salespeople
  • Built or scaled a commercial team through significant growth
  • Personally owned a substantial revenue target
  • Strong forecasting and pipeline management experience
  • Used Hub Spot or an equivalent CRM to drive commercial performance
  • Remained personally involved in major customers, pricing and negotiations

The position has the potential to develop into a Chief Commercial Officer role as the business continues to grow.
