The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Depot Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join a busy and successful distribution operation based in Yate.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in supply chain, stock control or logistics who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
You'll play a key part in ensuring the right products are available at the right time, supporting operational efficiency and delivering excellent service to customers.
Working closely with sales, warehouse and operational teams, you'll help manage stock levels, resolve supply issues and contribute to the smooth running of the depot.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage stock levels to maintain product availability.
- Respond to supply planning system alerts, including shortages, stock profile exceptions and aged stock.
- Liaise with Sales teams to support customer requirements and product availability.
- Investigate and resolve stock issues efficiently and accurately.
- Support the smooth and effective operation of the warehouse and depot.
- Maintain accurate stock records and system information.
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes and operational performance.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to maintain high service standards.
About You
- Experienced in supply chain, stock control, logistics or a similar coordination role.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using stock management systems and interpreting data.
- IT literate, with good Microsoft Office skills.
- Able to prioritise workloads and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proactive, adaptable and able to solve problems in a busy operational environment.
- A strong communicator with a collaborative approach.
