A longâestablished manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their growing production team. This role plays a vital part in the assembly of highâquality mechanical structures and cabinets, contributing directly to the company's reputation for precision and reliability.

The RoleYou will be responsible for cutting, joining, and assembling metal components using a range of welding techniques. Working with both manual and semi-automatic equipment, you'll ensure assemblies are produced accurately, safely, and efficiently.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and measurements
- Selecting the correct welding method and equipment for each job
- Setting up and aligning components for welding
- Performing MIG/TIG welding on a variety of metals
- Cutting materials using powered saws to match specifications
- Maintaining equipment to ensure safe operation
- Following production schedules and Work to Lists
- Completing internal Work Orders accurately via the company ERP system
- Supporting general production activities when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

Skills & Attributes- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
- Understanding of metallurgy (advantageous but not essential)
- Commitment to safe working practices
- Experience in MIG and/or TIG welding
- Experience working with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium (advantageous)
- Fabrication experience, including reading drawings and assembling/welding components
- Ability to select appropriate materials and consumables for each job
- Professional welding certification beneficial but not required
- Proficient in English
