Test, Service and Installation Engineer Location: UK-based with international travel We\’re looking for a hands-on Test, Service and Installation Engineer to support customers worldwide by testing, installing, and maintaining advanced fire testing instruments and associated software. This is a varied and dynamic role ideal for someone with strong electrical/mechanical skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset. Key Responsibilities: Testing & QA: Perform final inspections of instruments (electrical, mechanical, and software) prior to shipment Installation: Carry out on-site equipment installation and software setup (2-5 day visits) Training: Deliver end-user training on system operation and routine maintenance Servicing & Repairs: Provide planned maintenance, emergency support, and system upgrades (2-3 day visits) Technical Support: Offer remote troubleshooting and collaborate on acceptance testing and returns Travel: International travel required (approximately 25-50%)Key Skills & Experience: HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline 2+ years\’ experience in electrical testing, service engineering, or installation roles Proficient with instrumentation systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical components Excellent communication skills with experience in customer-facing roles Full UK driving licence and valid passport essentialThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, variety in their work, and international exposure.
