An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Lighting Controls Sales Engineer to join a growing lighting controls and energy solutions business. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has an interest in lighting controls, intelligent buildings, and energy-efficient technologies. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting sales activities through technical assistance, quotations, and customer engagement - while receiving structured training and development to build both technical and commercial expertise. Key Responsibilities
- Support customers and consultants with lighting controls enquiries
- Assist with project quotations and basic system designs
- Attend customer and consultant meetings (independently or with senior colleagues)
- Help prepare technical presentations and CPD materials
- Support the handover process from sales to project delivery
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Travel nationally as required
Skills & Experience
- Basic understanding of lighting controls (DALI knowledge preferred)
- Exposure to lighting, electrical, BMS, or building services environments
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Willingness to learn and develop technical and commercial skills
- Comfortable using MS Office and CRM systems
- Full UK driving licence preferred
