An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quality and Process Control Engineer to lead quality compliance and process control activities across a specialist high security and safety product range. Based within a manufacturing and assembly environment, this role is responsible for ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, performance and traceability. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, project delivery and installation teams while supporting major secure infrastructure and custodial projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain robust process control systems across multiple product categories
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, UK regulations and internal engineering requirements
- Develop and monitor inspection and testing procedures from raw material receipt through to final site approval
- Manage contractor quality platforms to record site issues and monitor corrective actions
- Lead the full corrective and preventive action process from issue identification through to long term resolution
- Carry out root cause analysis using structured methodologies including 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and installation teams to implement preventive quality controls and reduce repeat issues
