Production Technician Location: Waterbeach, UK Department: Production Reporting to: Production Process Supervisor Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking an experienced Production Technician to join a growing production team working on the assembly and testing of advanced electro-mechanical products and systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of innovative technologies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, precision, and teamwork are highly valued. The role involves the manufacture, assembly, testing, and fault-finding of mechanical, optical, and electronic assemblies. Production work ranges from cable and harness assembly through to complete system build and test activities. This position would suit someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across a variety of technologies and production tasks. Key Responsibilities Electro-mechanical assembly and testing of products and sub-assemblies Cable, wiring, and harness assembly SMT soldering and PCB repair work Component-level troubleshooting, fault finding, and debugging Recording, documenting, and maintaining production/test data Reading and interpreting schematic diagrams and technical documentation Using standard electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, DVMs, and signal generators Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality production standards ...
