An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to join a well-established and growing electronics manufacturing business. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in electronics manufacturing who is passionate about operational excellence, continuous improvement, and developing high-performing teams. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring production operations run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.
The Role
As Production Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy electronics manufacturing facility, leading a skilled production team and ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and delivery targets are consistently achieved. Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Sales teams, you will drive operational performance, optimise manufacturing processes, and support a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the electronics manufacturing facility.
- Lead, motivate and develop a production team of over 30 shop floor employees.
- Plan production resources to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate SMT and through-hole assembly activities to maximise efficiency.
