Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Rigid Foam & Composites sector is expanding its commercial team and seeking a technically minded Sales Engineer to help drive growth across the UK and international markets. The Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business, supporting existing customers, and providing hands‑on technical guidance across rigid foam and composite solutions. You will work closely with internal teams to solve customer challenges, deliver tailored solutions, and strengthen the company’s market presence. Initial training will be provided, and you can expect up to 80% travel for customer site visits, with the remainder office or home‑based.

About You
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or similar (preferred but not essential).
- 2-5 years’ experience in technical sales, ideally within foam, polymers, or advanced materials.
Skills
- Strong understanding of rigid foam chemistry and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Confident interpreting technical data and providing solutions.
- Proficient with MS Office and CRM systems.
