The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You'd be based at the Ramsgate facility and you will be responsible for the NDT inspection of aircraft components, with a focus towards aviation safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret codes, standards and other contractual documents
  • Assume technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff
  • Preparing and verifying the adequacy of procedures in the specified method
  • Approve NDT procedures and other NDT-related work instructions for technical adequacy

What we are looking for

  • EN4179/NAS410 Non-Destructive Testing Magnetic Particle Testing Qualification
  • EN4179/NAS410 Non-Destructive Testing Penetrant Testing Qualification
  • Experience within an aerospace NDT environment
  • Experience in reading and interpreting manufacturer's overhaul and repair manuals
  • Experience in utilising MT Bench equipment with fluorescent detecting media
  • Experience in utilising PT Fluorescent water washable and fluorescent post-emulsifiable systems
  • Experience developing audit checklists applicable to the NDT facility and conducting audits
