Are you a technically minded engineer with a passion for problem-solving and customer service? Our client is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Service Department, supporting a leading global provider of food production technology.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing specialist equipment, ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service.
What you’ll be doing:
- Service and install a wide range of food production equipment (including slicers, mincers, packaging systems, and associated software).
- Carry out repairs on retail scales and investigate electrical, mechanical, and network-related issues.
- Deliver customer training on equipment use and best practice.
- Manage and maintain effective stock levels of spare parts.
- Ensure company vehicle, tools, and equipment are kept in excellent condition.
- Complete all required administration, reports, and compliance documentation to a high standard.
- Attend training courses and maintain up-to-date Health & Safety qualifications.
- Participate in out-of-hours work and occasional overnight stays when required.
- Support rollout and refit activities in line with business needs.
