Based in Dartford, an international, multi-entity organisation is seeking an experienced Group Reporting Accountant to take ownership of group-wide financial reporting. This role sits at the centre of the Group Finance function, leading consolidations, statutory reporting, and providing technical accounting expertise that supports strategic decision-making. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys complex group structures, thrives in a hands-on environment, and wants to contribute to a business with strong growth and global reach.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Produce consolidated management and statutory accounts, including intercompany eliminations, cash flow statements, and acquisition/disposal accounting.
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors and support group-wide finance system and process improvements.
- Maintain group-level KPIs, chart of accounts, and reporting frameworks to drive consistency across all entities.
Must-Have Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong technical accounting background with proven experience in group consolidations and statutory reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and solid working knowledge of Business Central.
- Experience working within a multi-entity or international group structure.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret and communicate financial insights.
