Electromechanical Field Service Engineer | Field-Based – Southwest UK We\’re recruiting for a Field Service Engineer with strong electromechanical experience, initially focused on healthcare equipment, particularly ultrasound systems, with future opportunities to expand into ophthalmology, robotics, and other high-tech sectors. This is a home-based role ideally located near the M5 corridor (Bristol/Bridgwater area), covering a regional territory across the Southwest, Midlands, Wales, and occasionally beyond. The role involves installation, servicing, upgrades, and repairs of medical equipment at customer sites. You\’ll be part of a professional, growing team, with full training provided on additional equipment as the role evolves. Some national and occasional European travel may be required. Key Responsibilities Install, service, repair, upgrade, and relocate electromechanical medical devices (initially ultrasound) Maintain strong communication with customers, managers, and team members Ensure accurate completion of reports, system updates, and vehicle stock records Follow call closure and health & safety procedures Manage parts returns and equipment disposal per ISO and WEEE standards Travel across assigned territory with occasional wider UK/EU travel Attend product and technical training as required Skills & Experience Experience servicing, installing, or repairing healthcare equipment Background in electromechanical, electrical, or software-based engineering in a field based roleStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Able to work independently or as part of a field-based team Organised, professional, and flexible with working hours and travel Clean driving licence essentialQualifications preferred: ONC/HNC or City & Guilds in Engineering Other: Must hold or be able to obtain a valid passport ACS are recruiting for a Electromechanical Field Service Engineer.
