About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Enforcement to lead and develop our enforcement function within a growing, technology-driven parking and mobility organisation. This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for overseeing enforcement performance, appeals, compliance, debt recovery and legal escalation activities. You'll play a key part in ensuring that enforcement processes are fair, efficient, compliant and commercially effective, while driving continuous improvement across the function. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll use data and operational insight to enhance performance, strengthen compliance and deliver excellent outcomes for clients and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the Appeals and Compliance team, providing clear direction, support and ongoing development.
- Monitor workloads, team capacity and resource requirements, making recommendations to ensure operational efficiency.
- Audit team performance against internal standards, quality measures and compliance requirements.
- Ensure enforcement processes remain compliant with current legislation, industry regulations and accredited body standards, implementing updates where required.
- Monitor the performance of Parking Charge Notices (PCNs), analysing trends and identifying opportunities to improve operational performance.
- Identify site-specific or process-related issues that could impact compliance, customer experience or commercial performance.
- Manage relationships with external debt recovery and legal partners, ensuring service levels and performance expectations are achieved.
- Produce regular management reports on enforcement performance, appeals, compliance activity, debt recovery outcomes and legal escalations.
- Collaborate with internal departments.
