This Quality Inspector role supports manufacturing by ensuring materials, components and finished products meet defined quality standards. Working closely with Quality, Production and Purchasing teams, the role focuses on identifying defects early, preventing escapes to customers, and promoting a culture of built‑in quality rather than end‑of‑line inspection. It suits someone with strong inspection or manufacturing quality experience who is comfortable working independently while influencing teams across production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out inspections, patrol checks and functional testing to ensure only conforming products progress through production, identifying defects early and preventing customer impact.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, traceability data and quality metrics while supporting root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement activity.
  • Promote built‑in quality by communicating expectations across production, supporting adherence to procedures, and championing 5S, ESD/FOD controls and safe working practices.
  • Monitor calibrated equipment, cleanroom conditions and production processes, escalating issues promptly and helping maintain consistent, repeatable manufacturing standards.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar manufacturing quality role.
  • Knowledge of quality control standards, testing methodologies and inspection tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001; internal audit experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, reporting and problem‑solving skills.
