We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join a busy, well-established main dealership based in Harlow. If you’re a qualified technician with an MOT licence — or working towards one — and want to work for a company that values skill, quality, and progression, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career. (Technicians without MOT certification will still be considered — training and support can be provided!)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all levels of vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair
- Perform MOT tests to DVSA standards (where qualified)
- Diagnose, repair, and test vehicle faults efficiently and accurately
- Ensure work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all workshop processes
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship with excellent attention to detail
Your Skills & Experience
- NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Qualified MOT Tester with a valid Smart Card (desirable, not essential)
- Experience working in a main dealer or independent workshop environment
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
- Full UK Driving Licence essential
- Team player with a positive, professional attitude
