Diagnostic Vehicle Technician - Premium Brand
Hatfield £40,000+ basic plus bonus Full-time | Permanent | Mon–Fri (8am–6pm) + 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:30am - 4pm
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced DiagnosticVehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a prestige main dealer workshop in Hatfield.
Duties
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults across Audi vehicles using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical information.
- Carry out fault finding and repairs efficiently, including more complex or intermittent issues.
- Complete servicing, maintenance and repair work to Audi standards.
- Test vehicles before and after repairs to confirm faults have been resolved.
- Record diagnostic findings, work completed and any further recommendations clearly on job cards.
- Work closely with Service Advisors and the workshop team to explain findings and keep repairs moving.
- Follow manufacturer procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and customer care.
Requirements
- Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (NVQ/IMI or equivalent)
- Main dealer or busy workshop experience
- Diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
