Service Advisor £31,000 – £32,000 Basic Salary | £38,000 OTE + Uncapped Permanent | Full Time Monday to
Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm 1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:30am – 12:30pm Our client, a busy main dealership, is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join their established Aftersales team.
The department currently has two Service Advisors and is looking to appoint a third.
With the team handling approximately 20–22 customers per day, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor who is comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and providing a professional and efficient service.
- Booking vehicles into the workshop and accurately recording customer requirements.
- Managing customer expectations throughout the service and repair process.
- Liaising closely with Technicians and Workshop Control.
- Providing customers with regular updates on the progress of their vehicle.
- Identifying additional work and discussing repair requirements with customers.
- Preparing and explaining invoices to customers.
- Maximising customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
- Ensuring all relevant systems and customer records are kept accurately updated. Your Background & Skills
- Previous Service Advisor experience within a main dealership is essential.
- Experience working within a busy Aftersales environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Confident discussing technical information and additional repair work with customers.
- Kerridge RTC experience is preferred.
- Service Doc experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple customers simultaneously.
