We are recruiting on behalf of a car dealership in Ipswich, looking to appoint an experienced Warranty Administrator to join their Aftersales team. This is a site-based role, ideal for someone who already understands manufacturer warranty processes, procedures, and compliance within the motor trade. You will play a key role in ensuring warranty claims are submitted accurately, efficiently, and within manufacturer guidelines. If you have previous dealership warranty experience and enjoy working in a structured, process-driven environment this could be an excellent opportunity.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Access, process, submit, and monitor manufacturer warranty claims
- Liaise directly with manufacturers, including negotiating borderline claims
- Ensure dealership systems and databases are accurate and kept up to date
- Process service, warranty, and extended warranty claims
- Maintain full photographic and supporting documentation as required
- Contact customers regarding outstanding or urgent manufacturer recalls
- Handle warranty-related queries professionally and efficiently
- Ensure warranty procedures and requirements are followed consistently
- Build strong working relationships with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Management
Your Background & Skills
- Previous experience as a Warranty Administrator within a car dealership
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload effectively
- IT literate and confident using dealer management systems
- High attention to detail and strong process compliance
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
