Used Car Sales Manager £37,000 Basic | £60,000 - £70,000 OTE | Main Dealership | Bromley Bromley Permanent | Full Time Monday to Saturday (with a day off during the week) | 1 in 3 Sundays on a management rota Our client, a busy and successful main dealership based in Bromley, is looking to recruit an experienced Car Sales Manager to join their high-performing sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transaction Manager, Business Manager, Sales Controller or Car Sales Manager looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced dealership environment.

Although the internal structure of the business differs slightly, this position is best suited to candidates currently working as a Transaction Manager, Business Manager or Sales Controller, as you'll be heavily involved in deal management, profitability, customer satisfaction and supporting the overall performance of the sales department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the performance and profitability of the sales department.
  • Support and coach a team of Sales Executives to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Structure and stack vehicle deals to maximise profitability.
  • Work closely with the Business Manager and General Sales Manager to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Ensure all finance, compliance and sales processes are followed correctly.
  • Support the team in closing deals and overcoming objections.
  • Assist with stock management, pricing strategy and sales performance.
  • Lead by example with exceptional customer service and professionalism. About You To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience as one of the following:
  • Car Sales Manager
  • Transaction Manager
  • Business Manager

* Sales Controller You'll also have

  • Previous experience within a franchised/main dealership environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to maximise profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and motivational skills.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales and profit targets.
  • Strong negotiation and deal management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
