Trainee Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive £18,000 Basic Salary + Guaranteed Minimum Wage for First Year | Company Vehicle Available | No Sundays Permanent | Full Time Monday to Saturday (with a day off during the week) | No Sundays Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Trainee Sales Executive to join their growing Commercial Vehicle team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in automotive sales, with full training and development provided from day one.

Please note: This is a genuine trainee position.

You will not be expected to sell vehicles straight away.

The first 12 months will focus on learning the products, understanding customer requirements, generating leads, attending events and developing the skills needed to progress into a full Sales Executive position.

Our client is looking for someone with the right personality, attitude and willingness to learn rather than someone with previous automotive experience.

  • Any customer-facing sales environment The Role As a Trainee Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive, you will work alongside the existing sales team while developing your knowledge and confidence within the industry.

During your training period, your responsibilities will include

  • Learning the full range of commercial vehicles and understanding customer requirements.
  • Supporting lead generation and customer engagement activities.
  • Speaking with potential customers and building relationships.
  • Attending product placements, events and exhibitions to represent the brand.
  • Demonstrating vehicles to customers and explaining key features.
  • Creating interest and generating enquiries through face-to-face conversations.
  • Supporting social media activity and helping promote vehicles online.
  • Following up customer enquiries and maintaining accurate records.
  • Working towards progressing into a full Sales Executive position. About You We are looking for someone who is:
  • Confident and comfortable speaking with people face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Friendly, approachable and naturally good at building relationships.
  • Motivated to develop a long-term career in sales.

Previous automotive experience is not required — full training will be provided.

We are more interested in your attitude, personality and ability to connect with customers.
