We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Service Technician to join a successful and busy dealership in the Ipswich area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work within a professional workshop environment with strong earning potential, ongoing training and long-term career progression.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles to a high standard while working efficiently within a fast-paced workshop team.
The Role
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles
- Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards
- Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
- Working closely with workshop control and the wider aftersales team
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician or Service Technician
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent preferred
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work efficiently within a team
