Our client, an established independent bodyshop based in the Southend-on-Sea area, is looking to recruit an experienced Bodyshop Stripper/Fitter to join their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong bodyshop experience who is confident in both strip/fit and preparation work.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Stripping vehicles carefully and efficiently, avoiding any additional damage
- Re-fitting panels and components using new and existing parts
- Carrying out vehicle preparation and minor repair work prior to paint
- Masking and protecting vehicles using appropriate materials
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality standard
- Using tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Liaising with the parts department to order required components
- Working to deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail
