New Car PDI Technician Basic £ 27,184, OTE £41,000–£42,000 Location: St. Albans Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (42.5 hours/week with 1-hour lunch), No Weekends (Unless Required) Are you a motivated and efficient technician with a background in Pre-Delivery Inspections? We’re looking for a New Car PDI Technician to join our busy team, helping ensure every new vehicle leaves our site in perfect condition. What You’ll Be Doing: Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles Plugging in diagnostic tools to check for any system errors Performing quick road tests Adding fuel and final prep before customer handover Working quickly and consistently to meet daily volume targets Repeating this process efficiently across multiple vehicles per day This is a repetitive but rewarding role—perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and clear goals.
