MOT Tester £30,000 - £32,000 Basic Salary | OTE £45,000 Permanent/Full Time Monday to Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm) Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced MOT Tester to join their busy workshop.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys carrying out MOTs and vehicle health checks in a well-organised environment with excellent earning potential through a generous bonus scheme.
You'll primarily be responsible for conducting MOT tests and completing vehicle health checks, with a realistic target of 10 MOTs per day.
High productivity is rewarded, with technicians regularly earning around £250 per week in bonus, making the £45,000 OTE genuinely achievable.
Duties & Responsibilities of an MOT Tester: * Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards. * Completing vehicle health checks and identifying any additional work required. * Communicating test results and repair requirements with the workshop team. * Ensuring all MOT documentation is completed accurately and in line with DVSA regulations. * Maintaining exceptionally high quality and safety standards. * Delivering excellent customer service through accurate and efficient workmanship. * Keeping up to date with MOT testing procedures and legislation.
Your Background & Skills: * Must hold a valid MOT Tester licence. * Previous experience working as an MOT Tester within the motor trade. * Confident carrying out high volumes of MOTs while maintaining excellent quality standards. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Full UK Driving Licence.
